Secrets of ancient Egyptian vision boards

In ancient Egypt, when a child was born into a royal family, it was common for the family to start working on the pyramid of the child from birth. The pyramids were the tombs where the royal child was laid to rest.

None of this is new.

But what is interesting is that in addition to building the pyramids, the inner walls of the pyramid would be covered in art.

Some of this is religious and ritualistic, but…

What they will also do is paint visions of the child’s future. Pictures of them being great leaders, winning wars, bringing prosperity to the city!

They were drawn into the pyramids from birth…it was their version of a vision board.

So you see vision boards are not new at all and more importantly if they have been used for a long time there must be something to them!

Pictures are the language of the unconscious mind

The reason vision boards have existed for centuries is because it is well known that this is the way to communicate directly with your unconscious mind.

The powerful part of your brain that makes your heart beat and controls things like when it flashes, memories, and more.

It’s also the part of you that will make your goals a reality…if you can communicate with them in the right way.

One of the easiest ways to send messages to the subconscious is to build your own vision board.

These can be pictures that you cut out from magazines that represent your goals, or they can be drawings that you have made. They don’t have to be super technical.

You are the only one who will see this and since you know what the drawing means to you – that is more than enough.

You can then put all the pictures together as a collage on a board or cardboard. You can even make a smaller copy in your journal.

It’s up to you how you want to lay out the vision board, with goals, in an organized way or just a combination of all the images!

There is no wrong way – just do what works for you!

Once you’ve finished building, you should place your vision board somewhere you’ll see it every day – above your computer, in your bedroom. Somewhere you go on a regular basis where you will see the board daily if not more than once a day.

Then all you need to do is once maybe twice a day (or as often as you can afford) spend some time looking at the pictures, imagining yourself having achieved goals and feeling what it’s like to achieve those goals.

Feeling is what brings visions into reality, so be sure to focus on what it would feel like to achieve the goals.

It’s that easy.

In a matter of hours, you too can have your own vision board, a powerful tool for communicating with your subconscious handed down from ancient Egypt!
